Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

For the people who crossed to take care of their families.

Stick together when/if this ends. Those who have made 35+ with unlimited overtime for 10+ years will try to single you out even though you only make 17.50

She is using your credit card in order for us have a good time while your working. Haven't seen a statement in a while have you. She enjoys a little ki-k, claims you are boring in the sack. You know the saying, Happy wife Happy life. Carry on soldier.

Go away company trolls. Take your chicken little stories that the sky is falling, somewhere else. I already have gotten 2 paychecks and just received an extra week of pay in August. I think I’ll make it for quite a while unlike, you who is a grasshopper that lives minute to minute. A lot of us have saved for the possibility of a strike, it’s not our first rodeo!

Let’s see. If I lose my home, my kid will not be able to finish high school and have to get his GED. My other kid will have to quit college and I’ll have no way to pay for all the car insurance. The rent will be higher than my mortgage on the home that just got foreclosed on. Plus I’ll have to give up the fun stuff I do. So the answer is no. I will not take one for the team who is just trying to pad their retirement in the next couple of years.

To all the younger, motivated and still in some kinda shape employees:

Cross that picket line. You all know you do more work each day than most of the old timers. The same dinosaurs who never work a weekend for YOU but now beg you to hold the line.

They were the ones who said things like “don’t work yourself out of a job”, because they are fat old and lazy.

If enough hard chargers cross the picket line AT&T can lock out the dead weight.

The slackers NEED YOU, you don’t need them.

"Can someone please explain why you willingly applied to a UNION POSITION and then crossed the picket line!?!?"

because unlike the northern states you dont have to join the union to work at T in the southern states.

So go work at a cable company that doesn't have a union. Enjoy the low pay and no benefits you scab

At&t family first! You can find another spouse, make more dependants , but there will never be another AT&T. Now get a grip and return to the altar.

Get a side job like all those who were on long strikes in the past. Several of the WT’s at my location are doing just that. A few Wire techs were already working side jobs before strike, due to low wages and high inflation. Door Dash, Uber, pizza delivery, grocery delivery, fast food, temp agency, many possibilities.

if the union did not exist you would already have been let go.

It was a 5 year contract with a known expiration date. Everyone had plenty of time to save up for a possible strike. Everyone has families. Stop using that as an excuse to cross the line.

Forced on you? If you're in the southeast it's extremely easy to find a non union job. Please go elsewhere you scab. I promise you if you cross the picket line no one will respect you. Including management

Because we didn’t ask for a union, it was forced on us and we have a right to make a living?

It’s a strike year and everyone knows it you prepare, if you can’t miss a couple of paychecks regardless of a strike year or not you are a freaking loser and living above your means and will spend the rest of your miserable life blaming someone else for your dumm azz decisions. If you only make $17.50 you shouldn’t be procreating anyway because you are either too stuupid or lazy to better yourself. If Yalu do have a family your wife should leave you , take the kids and find a real man that can support you.

Sounds like that is what the lady that posted this needs to do cause if your husband is letting you post junk like this he is a little sizzy, find you a real man darling.

Go work for Walmart if you don't want to be a part of a union. Easy as that.

No sympathy for free riders.
