Damn I made the mistake of looking at my managers calendar for 9/16. There isn’t anything specifically for me but it’s sure stressing me out now.

Your manager may not know who will be on the final list, but they compile a list for their team and may have elected you as candidate for layoff.
Your manager doesn’t have any knowledge of who will be on the list. A whole team may be cut. It could be part of the team, and the team may not have anyone on the list. It’s jump ball.
LR training invites do not go out til first week of September.
Managers are playing trick to grant their calendar access to select employees so they can see what they’re putting on their calendars, like “LR Training”, 1:1 with random employees etc. just to keep the excitement going and everyone guessing. At least Managers are getting creative as they have too much free time from now through Sept 16. They are obligated under NDA not to talk about impending LRs.
Probably blocked time off to goof the fu-k off like most managers at Cisco.
You are giving your manager way too much credit. They know a day or 2 at most before. Half of the first line managers are box fillers

I mean, are you just seeing busy blocks or have they actually shared full access? I assume you’re reading into busy blocks…
Too soon for all of that anyhow, if so. Better off looking to see if they’ve received the invite for “LR training” that any managers with impact will have to attend in early September.

#1 it is too early to put anything there for this LR
#2 if nothing specific for you, then what is in there to give you the nerves? If the manager is working on that day they will have meetings. that's all they do... another meeting that could have just been an email.
