Except the new hires are making exactly what the guys who have worked 20+ years are making and don't have the same knowledge. When they did that last reorg and changed everyone's titles, it re-leveled salaries, and every single person with the same job title (at least in my group) got the same pay (at least for a year) regardless of seniority. Separation only started with the next year's (2024) reviews/increases.

Jason Press in his town hall yesterday said they are hiring. He lies. They may hire a few, but overall they are getting rid of tons more. He even said a few minutes later we have so many more people on payroll than our peers, so we need to get to that level. Dude is a tool just like the guy that put him there. He kept talking AI this and that, and none of the questions asked were about AI. It was all about lack of space in RTO offices and losing people in favor of India. He says he doesn't like to use the term offshoring. He is just replacing contractors. This is the same guy who did not move his office from Philly and instead just jets to go back and worth to Dallas to comply with the requirements of RTO.
