Labor Day weekend used to be about labor appreciation. Now it is about working like hard labor to get your stuff complete by end of day. Worst part is layoff is coming the day after Labor Day next week.

I will celebrate when that day finally arrives. Good Lord, this is taking them forever! Cut the rope already.
Why should a little thing like a century-old holiday celebrating workers get in the way of "displacing" workers in the name of corporate profits?
It’s like the diamond mines of South Africa around here. Sitting at a desk in an air conditioned office, 3 weeks or more of vacation, all the national holidays off. Yep, it’s like the mines around here.

You don't know this for sure. I'm 50/50 split wondering if there will be whacking this Tuesday. Some rumors said not until late Sept or Oct. But as we all know, who the he-l knows.
