I can't seem to find any information on LR package for Canada. Most posts talk about the states. What is it expected to be or what was it back in February? Do you get to keep all the manulife benefits for a certain period?

Turdeau takes half of your severeance
Its a month a year except if you are in Quebec then you get 3x and an indexed pension for life!
"one month severance for every FULL year employed"
Sounds like wishful thinking.
The law mandates the following:
Notice of Termination: 1 week per year of service, up to 8 weeks.
Severance Pay: Applies if the employee has 5+ years of service and the employer meets specific criteria. Calculated as 1 week per year of service.
Common Law Notice: Additional compensation may be owed, depending on various factors.
Benefits Continuation: Required during the notice period.
My LR package last August was -
- 4 weeks with access to CEC etc (no work expected to be done)
- Manulife benefits ended on my last day employed by Cisco (no extension)
- PTO payout
- one month severance for every FULL year employed
