Local and National news is ALL over this story. I am sure everyone who works for Wells is having their friends and family asking about this. Not a sound internally (that I have seen). At this point there's nothing the C-Suite could say that wouldn't make them look like a bunch of cold/uncaring back-peddling a--hats! Even more than normal. Their silence is deafening and tells us all, loud and clear, that they don't give a F about any of us! What they are worried about isn't how to solve the problem here, they are only wondering how they can do even more "tracking" of our activities for a massive CYA!

I got laid off in March but feel like I sat in my cubicle in a row of other people and no one noticed anyone else , even walking past them throughout the day. It was really strange when we went back after Covid.
Let's just say that not all parts of CS are created equal. Contractors are useless, but for nearly all security needs they are all the executives are willing to pay for.
If the buildings were actually cleaned regularly one might have noticed that she had passed. However, these buildings are barely cleaned, they are filthy.
He's too busy implementing 'location strategy' and firing people to worry about the relationship between WF and the contract companies.
That said, not even God could make contractors give an S about WF. They are contractors. That's never going to happen.

IMO, this really is on security for that building. From what I read, she clocked in on a Friday and was there all weekend. There is no way my manager would know or be notified if I didn’t clock out at the end of Friday. I don’t know anything about the building, but it’s entirely possible in our building to sit in a remote corner of the floor and never be noticed. It’s clear that cleaning does not happen regularly as they say it does. It is sad that she didn’t have family or friends that went looking for her.
In my role in one of the Business Groups, part of my job is working with Corporate Security. I can tell you that they are an absolute joke. The Sr. Manager who oversees the contract security workforce should be fired.
It still doesn’t make sense why no one found her for 4 days - not even a cleaning crew on Friday or Saturday? No one saw this on a security camera?
Legal counsel has probably advised them to limit comments to the vague regrets already expressed by the company spokesperson. I'm sure there's real concern about a lawsuit, especially if it is possible she might have survived if found on Friday instead of Tuesday. If I were her family, I would certainly be speaking to an attorney.

Bet a nickel WF is going to spin the story so they have no responsibility/liabilty of this tragedy
