I am currently at the point where I'm anxious to get laid off.

I left about 4 months ago of my own accord. I asked to be put on the list, was told I was placed on the list, and layoffs came and went and I was not let go. I wanted to retire so I just decided that was enough. I gave my 30 days notice and have been so happy since I left in May.
@1dso We worked here long enough, put up with enough nonsense, and deserve our sub-pay.
Pikachu surprise? They will thankfully walk you to the door.
What location? How many people?
Yes happen today there has being layoff today
If you want to leave then do it. Why wait hoping you will be on a list?. Do yourself and the people dealing with you on your teams a favor and leave already,

Be careful there… if HR arranges it, you wont be able to sit or walk upright for a month!
I am currently at the point where I hope to get laid
Some days I want to get let go & collect my 4 months sub & more on.
Other days I hope to be left alone & grind it out for another 5 years till I get hopefully retire from this horrible environment.
I'd like to be put out of the misery of working here once I get the redundancy package. It's a horrible environment people in constant fear of being fired, trying to make team mates look bad to make themselves look good and worst of all people doing as little as possible hoping to be let go.
Plenty of opportunities from now and the end of the year, a monthly process.
@kzf Which is why there’s talk of reducing /eliminating the sub. Remove the incentive, all that’s left is fear.
I asked months ago to volunteer but they just won't get rid of me yet. Apparently I am too important to get rid of yet. Yeah right. Hoping to be let go in the next round. This is ki-ling me.
Hoping there is another round? Don’t worry, there is another in two weeks. These occur regularly as they have under RV. It’s the Goldman philosophy borrowed from Jack Welch. Workers here wishing for themselves to be eliminated is proof that this philosophy is ruinous, untrustworthy and short sighted.
keep searching! Its tough out there, but there are jobs. Last Wednesday I finally received an offer letter to what I hope its a better company.
I cant wait to see their pikachu surprise face when I quit!
I know some who've asked their manager to please add them to the list for layoff, and they were.
If they will let me volunteer, even better!
