Slip rto and get fired with or without severance?

I'm Nervous. I average above model every month, and I went on vacation last month and thought I would be on model, but I ended up below model.

The manager does not like it, and I'm assuming I'll be on the chopping block next. Did anyone who got fired for not following the rules get severance?

@6exf. 80% slackers? Source? Stats? Proof? Or is this what you call an "alternate" fact? Amazing how BNY ran profitably for 2 years with only 20% of its staff actually working. You should write a book about it.

I was below model and got fired with no sub plan because it was considered ‘terminated with cause’

We know that you’re nervous. You ask the same thing every day and the answer is the same.

Anyone confirm you can enter WFA days retroactively? Even after the tracking window?

Yup, use work from anywhere day if you have any left.

Could you not retrospectively log work from anywhere days or in office exception to get you back "on model"?

How anyone could let themselves get fired for missing RTO twice is beyond me.

RTO terminations occur after failing to hit model twice. They're automatic and management has no say in it.

You have to submit your vacation days early, you have to monitor your days in office. Yes, the stupid card is often wrong. So check it regularly. If you see an issue, deal with early on.

@pdq No one is slacking. We get everything done that’s required. And we were allowed to WFH 2 days a week starting a few years before Covid. It wasn’t tracked or anything. Company’s just decided to make a big deal about it after Covid because they learned we no longer need work to be our focus 24/7.

You have to put in your vacation days by Thurs to pick up in the Monday refresh. Look at calendar view to see if your days picked up. If not, and you entered them it will update this Monday. And if that doesn’t work see if your manager will allow exception days after you explain what happened. You have 2 weeks to correct it.

If you were on vacation you shouldn’t be off model if you entered all your time in oracle and went in like you were suppose to the rest of the month

Imagine if this company put as much energy and strength into using all employees properly for projects, prod support and client enhancements rather than the pathetic RTO tar pit of rules and regulations, where it could be? But oh…. That would take real leadership and managing!

Amazing how people think that the Company owes them anything. I'm sorry, but what did you do before Covid? You worked 5 days a week in the office. So get your a-s in the office or find another job. Slackers

People deserve to be fired and without severance. People still using Covid as an excuse is absolutely ridiculous.

If you miss once, you get a warning letter and you need to acknowledge it.Once is fine but second time ,there are no excuses and will be shown the door.

If it was a genuine and unavoidable miss once, there are ways to address this in the system. But your manager should be willing to listen
