Conundrum!

Need some advice because I’ve found myself in a bit of a conundrum.
After all the reorgs, reshuffling and rebadging of employees and managers over the last five years, I have arrived at the intersection (or safe haven) of no mans land.

I have a role and perform my job function, but I no longer report to anybody. It has been this way for almost two years now. Everybody keeps reaching out and assigning me work and projects so I just take them on. There was only one time last year when somebody asked questions about what they saw in webphone so I said they must be doing some updates.
I kept receiving notifications about updating my goals and accomplishments but it appears that those were auto-generated. The one bad thing is that I no longer receive a review or a raise. I certainly didn’t think this glitch was permanent so I just continued on my merry way. I was going to reach out to someone to try to get to the bottom of this but when RTO started up, I got cold feet.

Maybe the person I was supposed to get swept under was let go or quit during the last reorg? Maybe there was an outage during some automated webphone update? Maybe I was meant to be surplussed from one group but was already approved to work with another group. Maybe it was the new HR systems or the new HR people?

My office indicator (and many of the other fields are blank).
As far as I know, I’m the new CEO.

You are the King Juice. The most unscrupulous of the unscrupulously. The Man. The sky is the limit. Do a little side gigging and bingo you got the raise. You are the most invisible of the invisibly. I am in awe of the awesome most.

This is not possible. HR software will assign you a supervisor. If your supervisor leaves then it should temporarily assign you to the next supervisor above that. Only Stankey will not have a supervisor filled in.

This is not far fetched if he or she is under my VP.
VP’s, HR and the legal suits select who is surplussed. Surpluses are usually decided ahead of a reorg. Some get swept to safety and some are consolidated under the zombie org.
I know my VP is a zombie. My AVP is certainly a zombie. Together they oversee one of the biggest zombie programs here. Why not zombie employees?

Bob said they will fix the glitch on Friday. Please don’t call payroll to inquire why you no longer receive a check.
