New Occupant indicators = RTO end!!!

They finallly did it! Switched us to virtual, RTO is OVER. What a relief. I am crying tears of joy. I never thought this day would come.

My org got virtual too. No big deal to me but I’m happy for others who have longer commutes.

My org of about 50 people got virtual designations this week. we don't handle any off hours support or anything. Makes no sense, but I'll take it.

LMAO. Keep the pipe dream alive, friend.

Ask ACS how RTO is going. Stankey doesn’t want anyone virtual.

Out of region technicians could not be any safer from layoffs, we’re pretty much untouchable in terms of layoffs. Too much work and not enough technicians. The C suite personnel don’t even pay attention to out of region because we’re self sufficient and revenue producing, thereby, untouchable!

If you are virtual that means it can be outsourced and will be soon!

Nope doesn't mean RTO end it means exactly what it looks like some reclassification and clarification, just type occupancy indicator at the HR site and it'll give you all the information you need

Work from home.
Live in India.

RTO is way safer than WFH. For now.

Go figure for those who now got switched to virtual end up getting canned and then the ones who are office designated will be assigned a desk finally.

FYI: I have also seen FTO, full time office people let go as well as people in the process of moving. Nobody is safe unless you have knee pads for the level 5 and 6

That has no impact, I have seen TW, FOW and others get laid off. This change is only to make it easier to identify who has be outside a hub for customer support...

I know a couple groups that got changed to virtual. Mine did not. We got changed to MS, which for us is office twice a week instead of three. I’ll take it.

My best friend was switched to Virtual.
He logged in one fine morning and was greeted with a meeting invite from HR.
He is no longer employed.

Don’t be so happy. It won’t stop you from being laid off.

If true, it only means that the Stink is switching to a different new way to fire people for free and to make them more miserable in the process!
