It’s bad enough to be replaced by inexperienced offshore labor but to add insult to injury, the layoff process is being conducted by an outsourced, 3rd party firm? ( I presume offshore). This is beyond the pale. No call with my manager or his manager. Just a dept- wide email saying turn in your laptop & complete the following steps so we can fire you.
They are such a-holes that they make you do all the leg work of getting yourself laid off. BNY & Eagle Investments are absolute sh*t companies. They should be ashamed of themselves.
I REFUSED TO SIGN ANYTHING. The severance is such cr-p I’d rather be free to bash the company on social media from here to China for the next year & leave my options open for a lawsuit.
