Update 60

AT&T Southeast Bargaining Report #60
“We spent all day today reviewing data and crunching benefits numbers to help achieve our goal to provide the best outcome for our members. The goal is to get our members in the best economic position possible to carry forward throughout the next contract cycle…”

Now am I the only one who finds it interesting that bargaining report 59 said that we were bargaining for a contract that would “meet the economic wage demands of our members…” and “…provide for our benefits and insurance needs.”, and so many of the other bargaining reports saying “fight for what we deserve”….”more in 2024” but yet bargaining report 60 says that “to provide the best outcome for our members. The goal is to get our members in the best economic position possible to carry forward throughout the next contract cycle…”???
Either that was p!ss poorly written or very telling.

There definitely does seem to be a change in tone from all of the demand, deserve, earn, fair, and fight talk to this that basically sounds like we’ll do the best we can.

Think it’s time for what little talent is left to move on. This is a mess. Nobody is going to stick around for the next contract.

I’ve got a prediction, T will not budge, CWA caves, you get the original offer maybe slightly better, but not much. I hope they settle soon for everyone’s sake or you all risk getting locked out. T will just sub everyone out. If you want real power, you all need a national contract, not this regional stuff.

CWA is gaslighting their members. Every update is vague and without any actual details.

All I got from it was that it sounds like they didn't meet with the company at all today. And apparently recessed yesterday after getting the proposal, so...
