Just a question. Do they get the picketing wage per week?

“ I’d be happy to do this full time as long as I got paid similar or more.”
Post your UID, that way we can make your dream come true. We can start you off in manhole training and repairing paper cables. After a few months of that we can train you to gaff poles and make repairs on off the road lines. Then transition you to brown field MDU attic micro duct installation, followed by cable repair on buried cables. After we’ve warmed you up, you can start doing installs in tight back-crawl spaces under apartments.
12/5 is a normal week on my team. Busy is 18+/7. With no OT or comp days. Didn’t used to be like that, but with all the cuts over the years people are doing multiple jobs. CP is a bit of a break for a lot of people. Personally I enjoy it. I’d be happy to do this full time as long as I got paid similar or more. I get outside, get to drive around, get to work with my hands and I get to actually eat lunch. It’s great!
Aww, sugar dumplings, we care. Did I tell you the one about the racist supervisor telling racist jokes to the minority crew? That was not caring!
They don’t care about you, they make sure they get pay
Level 1 managers get paid overtime.
Question, is Stankey still using company resources flying all of the country from sporting event to sporting event? Makes short stops at area company offices to make it all legal. How entitled and convenient, I’m sure the CP workers are loving him right now. Going on three weeks of 12/6 and no extra pay unless you are an engineer then OT, 🎉.
Yes, we actually fly in chefs week to week in order to have a variety of fresh farm to table fare. The company gets pretzals and peanuts left over from Delta throwaways.
Thanks for the reply because that brings into focus all the sudden interest to gaslight by company trolls. Self-interest, ya think? 🤔
You think they would be silent and only voice their grievances to their upper management. I’m guessing thou, the vast majority of company sycophants on here are the ones sitting their fat azz behind a computer in a nice A/C room. Meanwhile, their CP peers are working their azz off in the heat and being forced 12/6 or 7 days. Bet that has engendered a lot of animosity. Some get OT and other just get the extra work. What a cluster 🤡
They sure are! Who do you think is posting the steak and king crab lunch menus?
Nope. No extra pay for any hours beyond 8 or the weekend days, and you're expected to cover your normal job's tasks - just delayed. None is voluntary - you do your CP assignment or you're terminated for cause so no unemployment available.
Same old company gaslighting post. Just a question, Do CP salaried workers get extra pay above their salary because CP engineers get OT?
