The new exec norm, keep their positions and get paid more for failing. The Stankey layoff strategy of reducing headcount will come to an end soon because it’s already getting to a place of not functioning as a company. Multiple outages and security breaches are happening more frequently. Customer service is horrible with the automated maze of options. The positives are that there is a need and want for fiber for many reason’s. Speed, capacity, latency, interoperability and many future uses. That is going to continue to require a diverse array of talent from building the network, installation, provisioning, programming, maintenance, tech support and sales.
The company has been going through a very tough transition from legacy technology and products to the building out the new fiber/wireless network. The executive team hasn’t done very well with it, they have managed to change the successful culture and style of employee empowerment and meritocracy. The new culture and style is a top down micromanaging, bullying with DEI/ESG which, has reduced morale to an all time low and employees quiet quitting.
Once again jealousy raises it's ugly little head.
Stankey is making serious bank. We are just making mindless posts on a site nobody successful reads.
It will be big saving for T if Stankey is gone. Wonder how come he does not see himself on the surplus list.
