Time for the union to stand it’s ground or give in as predicted.

what does da union want in addition to this?
They want to continue to get paid like it was 40 years ago, when copper lines ruled, competition was non-existent, customers paid by the minute, and healthcare, pensions, and other benefits were so generous that anyone could retire like royalty. Sorry, but its 2024 folks.
T is barely staying afloat... too much debt, made worse by all the stupid merger/spinoff decisions since 2007. All that free cash stuff they boast about? Thats just shell games to keep Wall Street drinking the kool-aid, so they don't sink our stock value any lower.
“Maybe they should add an addendum to let the workers who don’t wanna be there anymore an option to leave.”
Maybe they should fire them for poor performance like every other American company does.
We expect very wet conditions for the next week also.
Depends on where you are. Forecast looks kind of nice, here.
Does the AT&T offer provide any assurances that jobs will not be outsourced to contractors?
I wonder if the Picketchoos know that the managers holding the line and working on handling critical mtce stuff are going to be paid for EVERY day of the strike and more for the weekend plus per diem.
Add some of the smart ones that walked and CP workers to beef up the coverage and this is actually LESS stressful now in a way.
No metrics being looked at, only critical work. No disturbance from the phone calls for daily baby sitting and admin work.
But carry on with the hot dogs in the sun and crayon scribbled posters. The public knows you are not poorly paid as they snicker past.
Every day out is a mini bonus payday
So carry on….
Tomorrow Friday will be the Final Final offer. More Finals as the WORK WEEKEND FOR MANAGERS gets closer.
Maybe they should add an addendum to let the workers who don’t wanna be there anymore an option to leave. The younger workforce is getting impacted heavily.
I would have to say that is a pretty good offer compared to what management gets now a days. Might have to go back as a tech.
Now it’s to the union. Is the Union gonna continue to have grilled hotdogs and hamburgers or will the tailgating continue? The younger workforce living paycheck to paycheck raising little ones are the most impacted by this stoppage.

18% raise, 5% upon ratification. Health benefits coming in line with management- taking on more of the cost but no where near what management has to pay. Plus pension band increases another item management will not ever see. Good luck All. Hopefully the reps will let the workers who are impacted make a decision versus deciding for them.
Sorry but all management will report this weekend. We expect very wet conditions for the next week also.
