Do we still get back pay?

Am I reading this right, has the NLRB case been closed?
https://www.nlrb.gov/case/12-CB-347546#:~:text=Case,Number%3A%2012-CB-34754

That one was filed by an individual, not the CWA. Probably had the individual withdraw it at the request of CWA leadership.

Backpay? For what exactly?

Returning strikers should expect to receive $75 per day on strike and a $800 ratification bonus from AT&T. You multiply the $75 times the work day count, not calendar days.

From NLRB.gov...
Unfair labor practice strikers defined.Employees who strike to protest an unfair labor practice committed by their employer are called unfair labor practice strikers. Such strikers can be neither discharged nor permanently replaced. When the strike ends, unfair labor practice strikers, absent serious misconduct on their part, are entitled to have their jobs back even if employees hired to do their work have to be discharged.

Your jobs are protected. I don't see anything in there about backpay. Do you honestly expect to get paid for not working?!?

I wonder how firing the mediator, as well as not allowing the membership to vote on the last offer affects the unions charge.

I’m no lawyer, but claiming bad faith bargaining then making those two moves seems unwise.

We want every employee to know that we are here for you when you need us most.
We are here for you, we want you to know we are bringing up your rear, and are ready to fill any voids.

“ the union told us what the evidence is they are going to use to win?”

The ULP charges were filed by a CWA lawyer and they were posted on one of the bargaining report. The NLRB will have an investigation to allow the company to respond to the charges then after all the evidence is gathered the NLRB general counsel will make a ruling.

“That’s what an economic strike is. This is a ULP strike.“

That’s what they told us to get a strike, have you heard any evidence being provided to make believe the ULP will win? I’m not being sarcastic, I actually curious besides all the cr*p talking against the company, has the union told us what the evidence is they are going to use to win?

Company troll but that would be a no. It’s a legal charge that is or will be investigated then a ruling will come.

“If you didn’t work you don’t get paid… that’s what a strike is”

That’s what an economic strike is. This is a ULP strike.
