CWA and Company are in a Battle

After listening to tonight’s call and seeing the company’s latest “final offer”, one this is for certain, this is about to go for a long haul. The question now is do you have the pay to afford it? And if you’re a non-exempt manager or an employee that crossed, are you ready to work 14-16 hour days straight? No matter what side your on, it’s about to get difficult for everyone. This one may go all this month or longer as it sounds.

Not when that “raise” is consumed by new healthcare/prescription costs.

Fake news. Obama fixed that. Remember the Affordable Care Act?

Ex exempt employee here who has worked work stoppage in CA. Managers and crossing employees have work assignments of 7days x 12hr shifts. My advice to Union Members is to hold the line. Show SBC/ATT you’re willing and mean business. Expect 3weeks minimum. Week 1 is play time. Wk2 it’s getting serious. Wk3 the week members are talking of crossing. Wk4 now progress is being made. Wk5 settlement with no give backs. Be strong. Strong in solidarity. Win together. You can do it together but not apart. Signed Ex Craft 18yrs as a Splicer. 22yrs as exempt mgr. I believe in the Union CA 9423 ✊🏽✌🏽

Craft folks should take whatever offer is out there. I mean, how many months or years are they planning to still work telephone anyway? Copper is long dead. Fiber will mostly be contracted anyway like most companies do.

Please show me proof that anyone is being forced to work 16 hour days right now—or 14 days in a row

“Y’all don’t want 40k in raises across 5 years? How is that not enough?”
