Might want to back up on that claim. T has lost 20k customers since the strike. Not sure what the breakdown is as far as DTV vs other services but I'm sure your side has the figures. DTV going down hotter than a pepper sprout!

ESPN tonight was BYU/SMU wait for it--
Saturday ESPN was K State/Tulane, Pitt/Cinci, Troy/Memphis, Tenn Tech/Georgia, Cal/ Auburn, UTSA/Tx Tech, Mid Tenn/Ole Miss, Nichols/LSU*, Alcorn st/Vandy, Liberty/Mex ST, Ms ST/Ariz ST. Note the asterisk by LSU, Their fans are so rabid they will not only place 20-25 forsale signs on all T property they will also place sardines in the doors. Yeah after this weekend DTV is going down. People will not put up with sh-t by Att.

Omission or modification of Article 14 would open the door for oversight and accountability. Nope, can't have that animal loose in the room.

@Joe Public and anyone else who thinks the Union should simply jump on T’s final offer …
I’m not saying their offer is bad BUT the devil is in the details.
Please consider this —
T publicly released a few paragraphs regarding their proposal to the Union.
For perspective, the 2019-2024 contract is over 400 pages. Clearly, the details of T’s proposal are conveniently not being shared with the general public.

For example, let’s think about raises. Sure, 5% sounds great. However, if part of the proposal is also to omit article 14, then T can layoff techs in favor of contrators. If they do that, the 5% raise doesn’t exactly exist. 5% of $0 = $0.

Without knowing the whole story, it’s hard to make a fair judgement from afar.

Joe Public Here again,
Look don't get mad at me. I was only posting because that's what they forced us to do today. It's raining cats and dogs here and we are stuck inside. They recommended impersonation or something witty. I didn't feel too witty today so it was impersonation. I only hired on for this gig because they wanted to keep the site busy, kinda like cyber BS. Normally I can get out and make it look as if employees are on the streets. Besides, my partner is OK. I guess the part about not supporting the members may have been a little over the top but I was trying to impress the boss. He is easily impressed. Gotta get back to the BS union bashing, see ya.

T stock is at the highest it has been in over a year. On the rise even with all this nonsense going on.

T stock is in the toilet, dividend is down. Employees kicked out and replaced. Maybe the board will finally see the future. CWA is trying to get as much as possible before the bankruptcy. Exec have stock options and will do anything to increase the stock price. They have generational wealth and will not leave as long as they can get that last nickle for themself. Think and identify the problem. Or, be jealous and complain. Support craft.

I told ya. Stankey is busting the union this year but you all laughed at me. That dude is out for blood. You should have taken notice when he declared war on managers last year.

"Joe Public here"

Exactly!!!!! Where is all the Media now that the truth is out? Share the Offer across all the News stations that played a role in conning the public. It makes me so very angry to be deceived by someone I had vocally supported.

Joe Public here. Been following this topic since first learning about the Strike on the local news. I guess I was su-kered along with the rest of the Public, and it now appears the Membership was as well. WTH is wrong with the CWA bargaining team? The substance of this offer hasn't changed much over the past 4 weeks. The misinformation put forth by the CWA was a ploy to have the public believe the CWA members were being offered crumbs. But THIS?? What sane reason could they have for not sharing this information with the membership as it was developed? For once, I commend AT&T for making a public release of their offer to the CWA membership. If this offer is rejected, I will no longer be able to support the members in their efforts. In rejecting this offer package the members deserve the hardships coming their way. They need to replace their own leaders rather than worry about company management leadership.

The Union will get a contract, management will get continued layoffs. That's how this works.
Are you new here or just mentally challenged?

Once you get the email to go and you discover you are not special, that is when the REAL fear sets in.
Enjoy the ride.”

… all while collecting a nice fat paycheck. I’m going to be just fine, my union brother.
