Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Don’t forget to subtract the pay you’re missing out on in your compensation calculations.

Third week out of work. Just subtract another 5-6 k from what you were demanding.

For Stankey's light is pure and his wisdom is true!
Post and post frequently, my disposable and malleable children!!
We will emerge from this unionist insurgency with our Disney discounts intact .
We in Corporate are genuinely grateful for your tireless support.
You shall not be left out of the headcount reduction that leads to ascension.

And you can take his entire salary, reduce it to zero, and spread it across the strike force. Each would get $500 and still be standing there with their hand out.

Your math is way off but it explains why you're defending Stankey.

For all who exclaim you had five weeks pay in August: you know you WORKED those 5 weeks. It’s not as if it was free money. I know, I know you are rich because of it and you can afford to go on strike for weeks on end. Good luck with how far that extra one week’s pay in August takes you.

We have been counting all the missed pay, from higher and higher healthcare cost to small wage increases and small retirement match. Yes thousands and thousands of dollars lost. Meanwhile, Stankey and the c-suite have had record raises. Stankey raise is more in one year than our raises spread over the whole contract. 13% this year, 18% year prior.

I hope they go on a long strike. Wall Street is loving all the added FCF and stock is on fire.

Oh, yet another future CP worker trying their scare tactics, we had 5 weeks pay in August. What part of that don’t you understand, also started strike pay and working side jobs.

Good try, now go pick out your shiny new boots, don’t forget a defined heel for climbing ladders. 🪜
