Invest 91L UPDATE

Looks as if Invest 91L will be about 75mph Wed. headed right up the wazoo between Houston and New Orleans. The cone is closer to NOLA with projected path N into La/Ms into Tenn. All you inexperienced non bargained employees need to understand the electric crews get 1st choice of motels. T likes to set up tent camps. Don't worry it'll be fun.

Good news.
Out of 3500 mosquito species only about 400 can transmit disease like Malaria and West Nile.
The bad news,
399 species will be in Hurricane Francine.

Update from the 34th floor in Dallas. They are watching the storm and are aware. That's it, that's all they said. Gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling doesn't it.

Ha good one, you have never been inside a Ritz unless you were John's escort.

The system is forecast to slowly continue in a northwest to north motion toward the Texas and Mexico coast on Monday, but then shift to the northeast and pick up stream.
Mexican Mosquitos at full throttle headed your way. You can name that tent the Ritz with John's picture on the wall. Tip: don't pin it, pins cause leaks.

As usual our Union brothers and sisters will provide help. The difference this time is the fact that we can BE THERE instead of being forced to sit in a work center watching. The Cajun Navy and others will have more volunteers and overall more hands on and boots on the ground to help our communities and neighbors. CWA Strong!

What year was it when they set that one up in South Louisiana, 2000 something anyway the damn mosquitos were in a feeding frenzy inside and outside. Some dude put on his hazmat suit and nearly had a heat stroke. I get itchy talking about it.

Our manager stopped by the line today and mentioned they were talking about sending what few regional scabs they have to help if needed. He said it was getting a little rough for em now that people are on to them. Some have been filmed having meltdowns in public and wanting to fight. The thinking is out of sight out of mind. They will know more later in the week.
