Believe me striking hurts the company. They’ll just never admit that the managers are out there struggling barely doing any work…..

Doubt they will strike. But we will stand up on Thursday in our office. That will show Ol Stank.
The lack of any sort of bargaining updates is getting old. Just some generic "closer on wages, still working on healthcare" or something along those lines. However the union seems to want to keep it hush-hush. Like they are in some super secret high school club for the cool kids.
I've heard complaints about the lack of communication from the company in my 25 years, but it seems the union is not any better. I think we need a little more info than just "you're a part of history", "we are making history" "they will talk about us for ages".
In the meantime, AT&T is going full bore on the Gigpower tie in with BlackRock.
I'm afraid I'm a little miffed for the union not even talking to me like a man with the truth about what is happening after taking my dues these past 25 years

It's not a hard thing to understand:

Each district negotiates separately from other districts.

It just so happens District 3 and 9 have expired contracts at the same time. The bargaining is still performed independently.

D9 here, Our VP and Pres. Cummings needs to call a strike, we are over 5 months from contract expiration and the TA wasn’t acceptable. No regressive proposals.

Um, what? That's some weird a-s shorthand writing. The company has already shown that they won't cancel health insurance immediately, if that's what the Kaiser is referencing. I think they technically have to give like 14-days before they withhold insurance payments.

No. You should have already saved up at least 6 months worth of living expenses, including your kid's homecoming outfit and sports fees, as well as the deposit for the 5th grade Washington trip due by October 1. Your Christmas shopping should have been done on one of the 2 Amazon Prime days already held this year, or you should start learning to knit and make all your friends and family color coordinated beer coozies.
