Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Been in P3 for 4.5 years-salary growth and next move

I have been in P3 position for almost 5 years, started at around 108k and gross around 120k now . i want to move up a level along with a salary increase, is there a set % increase as internal move? . Not gonna move if salary increase is minimal with more responsibilities.

This forum is about layoffs not salary discussions, ask recruiter or go to glassdoor.

You don’t list location but if not in hcol you are paid pretty well.

Nope. I believe the internal move % with promotion is 5%. Bottom line is you are doing the same job as before and honestly if you are making 200k and a manager don’t you think you should be able to figure that one out yourself.

Was recently hired as a P6, did a lateral (was a Sr. Manager). Knew no raise with lateral but recruiter confirmed any promotion raises are considered at y/e. Crazy IMO.

I am currently interviewing for a P4 to P5 move and changing organizations. HR said no comp change until year end changes and no discussion of potential targets during this process.
100% anti-employee.

Take on more responsibility, get more visibilty, drive strategy but dont get paid for 3 months. Change isnt effective 1/1, its not until the 1st paycheck in March. And they will noy agree to X% for job change and Y% for merit. And if you do not move by 9/30, the current boss has significant influence over bonus and raise.

It is no longer a guarantee to get a raise with a promotion and as the other poster mentioned they are trying to push the raises until year end and sounds like you cant put a guarenteed percentage in your offer. This was a new hr move that sc--ws employees.

assuming you would get an increase from going from p3 to p4, sounds like they are holding off on these types of increases and doing them as part of year end. regardless though, in my experience you'd be looking at 10%, could be more or less, but I'd go with the mindset of getting 10%
