Dude. I can’t have workload double again. Already unable to start half the stuff being tossed at me.
Pretty sure working or not working has nothing to do with it, believe it or not. They make these decisions almost at random. If productivity mattered they would stop offshoring because the cheaper workers actually su-k and say no to everything

Jokes aside, the only thing that gets you removed is a “humanitarian emergency “ or something like that. You were diagnosed with cancer or your spouse died. There’s a process to deal with that kind of thing.

The LR will majorly hit expensive US worker. Just relax this week and work harder in the future.
You will get promoted, don’t worry.
Even if you survive, your workload will double or triple more than what it was before the announcement. I doubt anyone is going 75 percent this week.
