Heard there are layoffs happening within Private Bank , specifically the institutional group

Real stuff. I worked at the bank for 17 years. Out of those 17 years I had 11 end of year exceeds/exceeds. Just had my mid year and was called 3 days later and let go. Didn’t even get to speak to HR. Called numerous times and countless emails. Never got a reply.
