CP Training

After being in the CP training for the third day now, you techs are a joke. I can splice fiber with my eyes closed now and I can't wait to fu-k some sh-t up drilling holes in walls! Every customer will have their modem installed in the furthest corner of the house. They can go buy a mesh unit if they don't like the coverage. And then I'm going to sell them IPTV and make a ki-ling! LOL

The only people who'll be working in the storm will be CP managers otherwise Stankey will fire you.

Plenty of jobs out there as a software developer. Can't say the same about a cable splicer.

Also requires a vastly different level of education. Try trolling a bit harder.

“ I’m actually looking for ways to do this work permanently”.

Volunteer to work out state to climb poles off road with gaffs or work in the manhole runs on air pressure, paper cables and lead. We can always use experienced people on road moves. I’m sure there are ways to use your massive talents.

The company is in the process of training thousands of CP managers to deploy.

Unlike the first wave who were trained on the job, they are now training CP manager prior to deployment.

The company isn’t messing around. Union workers are being replaced and to be honest, the work is easy. It doesn’t take long to learn how to punch down or wire wrap a wire. I’m actually looking for ways to do this work permanently, maybe the union guys want my old job?

They know their jobs are easy. I actually can’t believe how much these guys make to sit around and do nothing all day.

I love watching y'all run when a storm rolls in.

We'll be at home when the storm rolls in. You think the union will have us standing out there in that weather? Lol. We can always say no even if they want us to.

The only people who'll be working in the storm will be CP managers otherwise Stankey will fire you.

Good luck when the hurricane hits.

How's your medical plan?

I just need to pay the monthly premiums which is easy with the amount I have saved up.

Thanks for asking!

I don’t think a lot of union people are referring to IC’s and technical folk when they say ‘managers’ if you have a STEM degree you’re most likely an IC.

Most management here has silly liberal arts, MBA’s, etc.

“Managers can’t do any job, they are useless. No manager is capable to replace a technician and install anything.”

So are you saying that people who worked hard and completed college with STEM degrees are stupid and lazy? Especially, compared to people with only a high school diploma or maybe an AS degree from a tech school? Whoever wrote that has never had the drive or ambition to achieve more. Go ahead and keep standing on that picket line. It explains a lot about why mostly lunch menus are posted on this site instead of anything relevant. CWA knows a su---r when they see one.

We are heading out tomorrow for our first installs. Another class starts tomorrow and then another one next week. We will have you replaced in no time. Contractors coming in too. Keep cooking and carrying your signs. Those bills have to be stacking up. How's your medical plan? Your going to need your diabetes and blood pressure medication soon! Maybe you have that 3 month supply? I love watching y'all run when a storm rolls in.

Managers can’t do any job, they are useless. No manager is capable to replace a technician and install anything. CO training is a joke. You don’t learn anything from those videos. On too of that managers were not expecting any strikes. For years there was no need for them to be deployed. So union workers please don’t be intimidated by stupid posts like that.

I love 7 to 7 work hours. I never knew how long I was capable of working. I might need your IPTV to watch football games while I'm driving the van on Saturdays.
