Verizon used to be exciting with new product launches to rally behind. Its not longer the case. There are no new products on the horizon, and all we do is drop our prices, reducing revenu; and look to see where we can save another penny. More work with less people is stressful.

Given cost cutting through the RIFs and exiting of businesses, it sure looks like VZ is shifting from a pseudo-technology company to a pure utility company that prioritizes profits and dividends.
TPD needs to churn out new products faster. After countless reorganizations within, still the slow pace in innovation, so much for change energizes us…

Unless you are in BR, there are no celebrations to speak of. We've had milestones lately, and all have had nothing done - just an email or UTS. BUT if you notice, a lot of execs are spending less time in BR, and more time traveling, giving interviews and speeches..... So they can't say they don't have the time or money - they are just choosing to use it elsewhere.
New age of distancing themselves from the rank and file.
Get used to it or exit. It will get worse.
