TMAW worse every year

It has gotten to the point they should just stop doing it. Less money and less effort each year to the point where it is insulting. The regional raffles in the NA are a joke they seem like they are regifts from what one of the vendors WFM does business with.

All stores are given a TMAW budget. If you are getting nothing or PB&J your STL is keeping the money towards his/her budget and bonus. No reason for this. I think it is somewhere around 7 to 10K per store. We had really good food everyday and not from prepared foods. We also had prizes given away. I really liked when regional was giving the bigger prizes and would email every few hours with a prize and who won. That was nice. I don't know why they stopped that. My store manager is a narcissistic bully but he does love to do this for some reason and he loves giving out the prizes so he does.

all you get to eat one day is free pizza from prep-foods..........just as lovely as those free peanut butter and jelly thursdays before payday........

I will say at my store in the SE region we had something different to eat everyday. Hots dogs, gumbo/chili, wings, BBQ (cookout) etc. The prizes was not cheap. My dept alone my team members won a griddle, a nitendo switch, and bombox, and a TV. I been here for 9 years and I seen the neighbor store serve their teammembers grilled cheese sandwiches. We never got anything that low budget before. I wish that other stores could had the experience of having a STL that actually care and go all out to show that they are appreciated

We got bread w peanut butter. Im not making this up. MA region. I mean wtf!! How cheap can you be. A/STLs should get fired for pulling this obscenity. An insult to TMs.

The SE region is the most horrible region. We were in the SW region and got moved to the SE. Matar is an unrealistic man. Our labor was cut so low we are working like dogs and still can't get everything done daily. When he is coming for a visit we are made to work like crazy to prepare the store for the visit and then cut hours after to make up for it. It does not show him that his cut labor isn't working and we are suffering for it. Everyone in the store is not happy to the point that even the guests see it. We lose people constantly because they say the work is too much. Then the people left are now triple overworked. Amazon please sell us to someone who cares more about their employees. We used to be a top rated company and now we are worse than Walmart. Sad......

Why pretend about anything? WFM crams lies down everyone’s throats constantly. It’s a mindless dead end job that they try to portray as having a higher purpose. Things have been on a steady decline at stores for years now but they try to pretend it’s all rainbows and sunshine. Things where never perfect but have gotten considerably worse and I’m not talking about just TMAW.

I honestly think in this case they are doing their best for TMs. Not their fault that management is so cheap. I don't really participate in these raffles or meals but I do appreciate the effort. It really is a thankless chore. We should at leasr pretend to be happy with it.

In the se region I haven't even heard about regional raffles. Its supposed to be optional to wear a certain color of shirt each day. I've seen numerous tms do it. But no leadership partake in this. Not surprised.
