Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Techs please come back

This strike goes well beyond union employees. We are all struggling to put food on our tables right now with hardly any installs. A lot of us non union (chose not to be apart of the CWA) sellers are getting beat up and management doesn’t give a fu-k. It sounds like techs are being used as pawns by the CWA. Please, I’m begging at this point, come back to work.

For those of you who still don’t get :

https://www.nlrb.gov/strikes

“Unfair labor practice strikers defined.Employees who strike to protest an unfair labor practice committed by their employer are called unfair labor practice strikers. Such strikers can be neither discharged nor permanently replaced. When the strike ends, unfair labor practice strikers, absent serious misconduct on their part, are entitled to have their jobs back even if employees hired to do their work have to be discharged”

Favors? Go hide and do the impossible with yourself. Your job is going to to India. Nothing you can do.
I set my phone down when I call "support" An hour later I get "Hellop dis is Bob, how may I halp you. Nothing gets fixed.

I get 46 dollars an hour.
God bless AT&T and their ever continued incompetency.
I profit.

By the time I pay for family benefits for healthcare, my paycheck is gone. Has been for years and years.

Why the negative reactions? Union members are being selfish and greedy and don’t care how it affects the rest of us. We are all pi---d at them now. They think there will be a welcome back party, think again. More like FU-K YOU for hanging us all out to dry. Don’t expect any favors when you get back.

Nope the “management” office workers don’t care. Especially after seeing what the offer was to the union. We’re lucky to get 2% with a top rating, maybe. While my costs have gone through the roof. I made less money last year than the previous year. Heck my pay has gone almost no where in 5 years and I’ve had top ratings every year.
