I wish! The number of times that people have said things that their bosses or leadership would die if they heard them say…. I stick to email or teams so that I have a record of what people say and can hold them accountable. Verbal conversations can be misheard or misrepresented or a number of things.
You should assume that everything you do on your work computer is monitored &/or recorded. How do you think they found the mouse jigglers? Monitoring key strokes, that's how.

Person who posted that e-discovery link. You can only use the tool on meetings that are recorded. Wells Fargo’s retention policy is very short for recorded meetings. You need entitlements to record a meeting. Meetings can’t be recorded without everyone in the meeting seeing the meeting being recorded and an automated message is sent. Stop spreading misinformation

Listen to me closely - every single thing you do in Teams is recorded, archived, indexed, and searchable by those with management access. Audio phone calls are recorded, transcribed, and fully searchable.

We used Skype a couple years back so when people talk of Teams 3-5 years ago I wonder if they were here 3-5 yrs ago. I was. We didn’t use teams (technologies may have but not the rest of the bank)

@xik That’s not the way this works. you are on a work computer and conducting wf business. It doesn’t matter if you live in NV where it’s legal to record you or another state where it isn’t. WF can record what they want. I think OP is asking about WF recording Teams calls (all the time) and not when a presenter records a meeting. You should announce this before recording as a courtesy and there is a red dot indicating the call is being recorded. You can’t record certain calls, like when legal is on & providing legal advice or guidance. Assume you are being recorded all the time and you’ll be fine.

Isn't there a feature for managers to get what employee did for the day or the week?

If you’re a Legal Hold employee then everything is blatantly recorded.
Another poster mentioned being notified, that is when one of the parties present on the call is manually recording it.
Everything via teams runs through MS Cloud and is subject to scanning and context printing via AI. I am unaware of the retention policy but assume everything is recorded and available to be queried for a a period of time. Default scans are run for context matching items that affects the Enterprise only. Things like insider trading, etc. You and your peers complaining about leadership, your manager or that rude cashier beeyotch in the cafeteria are not on their radar. Those conversations have to be requested by your manager and there’s a whole process requiring business justifications to CYA the org for that.
I have a feeling they are depending on your department. I personally have experienced some suspect conversations with my manager on several occasions that really makes me think our groups teams calls are monitored. Either that or we have a bunch of snitches, probably both honestly.
Not all of them. Usually they tell you they are being recorded before they do.
