Did anyone get anymore details on bringing back employees who were let go in the RIF?

I left years ago and have been contacted multiple times by direct BS employees as well as recruiters about coming back. Even given pick of what metro I would want. NO THANKS! Reading this board gives me little hope for the company. Many I worked with have left, the good folks who are still there could leave if they wanted to though have done an impressive job at insulating themselves from the mess so good for them! It is no Camelot anymore. If you know, then you know what I am referring to.

@2ccc+1uttaFu5 That is Jabba's idea. No one under him has the capacity to think of such BS. It wouldn't surprise me if Jabba does a handshake deal with GCs to hire our laid off personnel as a prerequisite to landing the contract work. That guy is more slippery than a pocket full of pudding.
They are asking GCs to hire the laid off techs. The genius who thought of that doesn't realize they are being set up to be the scape goat when this fails. Upper management has shown time and time again that they will wholesale get rid of groups to appear as they're holding people accountable when the lies catch up to them. I'm surprised Jabba is still sitting on his throne in Cactus land.

No is getting “recalled”. Those people are applying for open roles. I know at least 7 who were let go last year who re-applied. Only 1 was rehired.

They have been recruiting people back since last year. Those people are receiving significant pay bumps and their years of service restored. Honestly, it wouldn’t be enough for me to return.
Nope. Some agency recruiters were poking around, but heard nothing more about that. I saw some PC postings for various offices.
The question is: would you go back?
