This is dangerous and short-sighted for the bank. The talent pool and the quality of work are concerning. The potential of data breaching is very high once the offshore recruiting is significantly expanded.

I’m Playing the game. I’m older so maybe I will play the game for severance.
I don’t know, but here’s the deal Charlie just hired on all these executives that are stealing our pay and I’m broke as he-l.
He is turning risk into a total sh-t show with going to India and that’s why we’re under another OCC risk.
So, I’m just gonna keep playing the cr-ppy games they play!
Charlie is not untouchable, we do the work. He’s just another person so think about that.
Why? They ignore the negative results.
No, don’t take the survey. They want people to. The metric they care about is the participation percentage. Instead, take all these facts and concerns to the media government, regulators, Senate, Congress, etc.
Hasn’t all the issues and breaches happened in the US?
Did that last year. Results? No. Don’t waste your time. It’s not worth the risk. Survey company is required to release names of individuals on request. It’s in the policy you agree to before taking the survey. It’s only anonymous if WF makes it so. Do you trust WF?
I know some folks at another bank and both ways of not completing it or laying into mgmt got attention.

Heard they are dealing with employee fraud in India. A significant amount. 20% are committing fraud. Expense reimbursement, hourly pay scams are the issues I’ve heard.
No good can possibly ever come from taking these surveys. Everything you say can and WILL be used against you. I see it ever single year. I'm done taking them. When the current crop of execs moves on and we have less evil people running the place, I'll consider it. Not before.
Don’t respond to survey is best approach
You're wasting your time if you do. They don't give a sh1t. It's also not anonymous.
I heard this week during a meeting that a specific tech function was moved entirely offshore with maybe 1 person left on shore. So good luck getting things done when they're off-hours and possibly not have a clue what you need.
With all these changes, expect that things will only get worse in terms of quality and quantity of things completed. Just grin and bear it until you get a package.
The only thing the Global Survey is to determine who is not a team player (no these are not anonymous) and to estimate a budget for severance for the next year depending upon if you mark you are looking for a new job. Wells Fargo has absolutely ZERO intention of making USA folks happy, in fact it's just the opposite.
So OP, your saying two things; take the survey AND tell them you think the talent pool, quality of work, and potential data breach would be very high due to offshoring.
Like @msd+1uu5J0sE said,
Yeah, That will make them reverse course.
That will show them.
I think I will pass on both requests.
No, completion =engagement.
Yeah, that'll make them reverse course. A couple surveys.
