Should managed employees bear the individual cost burden of a $1475 annual increase to break the stalemate and get the CWA members back to work?

Would I voluntarily take away from my own family to cover the financial obligation of an entitled Karen? No, that would only encourage similar behavior in the future.
You won’t have to! A lot of you management will get laid off eventually and free up some cash flow . Don’t say it won’t happen because that’s what you guys cry about all day on here.
We are all going to government health care at some point in the near future anyway. ATT might as well hasten the change by not offering any health care at all. They can save millions, quicken the force reduction, and do the governments bidding.

Make no mistake, they will, whether they want to or not.
Huh? This has already been going on for more than a decade. The management health insurance is high deductible, high premium, and basically just serves as "catastrophic" insurance.
Every year they tell us how it's "industry leading", "competitive", etc. This is complete hogwash, You know how I know? I know people that work in the industry. And I know that every year I run the numbers against what my spouse's company offers (a large company), and it's not even close. And they contribute 3K every year to an HSA for family coverage .
They can either pay their own, or do without.
No. Mgmt already carrying that burden.
not cool to blame managers' health increases on union members.
The manager has been playing this health proposal already for years. And we do not get automatic 5% raise ever. Not even if we get the highest rating. The CWA is ignorate and foolish to think they are going to get the company to move. If they get anything from this it will be more layoffs of union workers like the UAW did just after they reached their last agreement. “Cost cutting” will be the next process after this.
No. The CWA wants more Benefits than their contributions warrant.
