The Mgrs aren’t covering the work and it will manifest itself on the bottom line, and every person on strike isn’t having grilled ribeye for lunch. Both sides are hurting. Know some Union folks who said they will be making a hard decision this weekend. Not every company is willing to defer bills and even the ones that are will expect the unpaid bills to be paid when this is over. A month’s pay is hard to catch up on for a lot of folks.

Not everyone is under stress. Know some techs who have been disciplined enough to be in pretty good financial shape. However there are some folks who are starting to struggle financially. About to start their 2nd month without a paycheck. Know a couple of people who were prepared for a couple of weeks and starting to see bills they can’t pay. Getting your electric bill and trying to pay some of it so you won’t get a shutoff notice is starting to get real.

This is also true at my location. In an attempt to shame them, the CWA picketers post signs with the names over everyone crossing, and the number of signs has doubled in the last week. Almost 20 now.

Our deployed CP workers had been telling us they were seeing more crossing the line every week.
Those that are “good until next year” should be embarrassed that they are putting their significant other under that level of stress. It shows how one sided your relationships are.

Until you see those COBRA premiums, You're only good until this time next year if the company continues to cover you, you're covered under your spouse, you're super duper healthy and like your odds that nothing will happen, etc.
The upper management of this company is pitting us against them. They are neither us or them. Just look at their Outlook and see what company they work for. They work for a totally different company and are protected. They get different benefits than the rest of us! I'm surprised they're even in the same building as everyone else in Dallas. The Charter Communications upper management went to a separate building in Connecticut and I'm sure that will eventually happen here. They keep calling the CP assignment managers but in reality they're just employees like the Union but without a union. The CP assignment managers are the ones really getting sc--wed here. If they say they won't do the job they will lose their job. Everyone is losing here except for the upper management in Dallas.
Same, union here and good at least a year. These CP managers and other sycophants are wanting us back so bad, they will and have said anything to try to influence. Not working.

We (union members) aren’t crossing but ready for the company ULP to end and get a fair contract. Enough Stankey, everyone on both sides are ready to get back to their own work and grow the business. You are hurting the brand with your stubbornness and regressive proposals.

Same boring post over and over. Yes workers want to go back to work and yes CP managers are worn out. Stop the everyone is going bankrupt posts because it’s anecdotal and not true. If someone in the union has any issue they need to address it with their local union officers. There are options in place to assist those in need. A few people had money issues before the strike including management and will continue after the strike is over, for most that’s never going to change. A lot of people live beyond their means but entry level employees are underpaid too and inflation has been at historic levels.
Stankey is the Messiah who shall bring the union to it's knees and restore stock prices from it's current price to the mid teens.
Unfortunately they will get no sympathy from their own brothers who are screaming from their vacations to "hold the line," and scolding them for not planning better.
And the CP managers will get no sympathy from leadership as they are called to meetings not to thank them for their work but to tell them to expect their RTO-move letter soon.
