Does anyone know if our final paycheck will be on the same scheduled payday being 9/27 or will it be earlier or possibly later ? Also will our unused vacation be on that check ? Final question, did I need to submit a timesheet for my unused vacation ?

These are folks management definitely wanted to take the VSP. People who cannot read nor follow procedures.
What a worthless post
If you had read the FAQs, you’d know that the severance check comes in about four weeks (provided that you signed the release), and that vacation is paid out separately.
call your HR dept.

About the only advantage to living in California is that all vacation and unused PTO was paid out on 9/13 in a separate deposit. So, YMMV.
