Any updates on how many put in and were granted the EISP offer ?

Isn’t the company allowed to offer an eisp once a year without discussing it with the Union? They should just let the people who want to leave, leave.
Of course the union is against any surplus condition. They want the company to hire off the street to fill any number of techs over the surplus number that the company would let go. The problem is, there was a huge over subscription in FAA1 (NYC) . The company would never hire that many new techs and the union would never agree otherwise. The company would love to get rid of all of us. The company pulls these surplus numbers out of thin air anyway. They are not real numbers. They are currently hiring in surplus titles......as far as why it took so long to let us know, My foreman and union rep said they do this every time they have an eipp offer.
Not saying your info is wrong, but if they were gonna stick to the number wtf took so long to let people know. If they don’t take over I would say the union fought it because they are seeing membership go down .
I just heard from my business agent. I didn't make the cut. I was hired in 1995. Doesn't look like they are letting any techs over the surplus number go. I'll probably retire next year without an offer.
- Wouldn’t surprise me. Go home already!
heared if your net credit ser date is 1986 or lower you got it..thats some package right lol
Unions lack of info is absolutely pathetic . But , not surprising.
Nine days until separation and those that put in for it still haven't found out if they're getting their wish granted...Pitiful
Has anyone heard anything ?????
yeah the union says ,duh i dont know, well freakin find out for your membership!.instead of sitting on your hands CWA
“A lot” or “ we don’t know anything” . That’s the response from the pathetic union representation .
