There is no guarantee for a bonus even if your notice period goes through 9/30. Read the plan!
I am sorry that you were displaced (and yet slightly envious). Be glad you are on the severance route - might get worse for those of us who remain but are not in a hub city. Best of luck as your sanity returns and you breathe freedom from the awful environment here.
You will receive the percentage of the bonus you earned through the last day of your notice period. So for you, early November. Ten months worth.
You will receive it when everyone else does, early March. Don’t change your direct deposit info before then.
It’s 9/30 not 9/15 but your point remains. You may be confusing with 12/16 (so mid-month) for 401(k) match.
Are you also in Boise ECMO?
look back to last February, there were plenty of people who were laid off and got bonuses. you are still considered and employee for the next 60 days so as long as the end of your notice period is after 9/30 you are eligible should your group choose to give it.
Bonus eligibility is up to your manager, it certainly isn’t guaranteed. I doubt anyone displaced, unless told otherwise, gets one
Bonus eligibility cutoff is 9/15, you’re “fine” esp w/ the 60 days.
Just think how happy the Indians are now that 15 people just got hired with your bonus funds.
As that still at the discretion of the manager if you make it past 9/30?
Most likely but no sweat. You'll soon be doubling your pay when you get another job adding to severance
