Recently got moved to EBCE even though I work at a “core” site. Supposedly this has nothing to do with being identified for layoffs, but the whole experience so far makes me feel like they are setting me up for failure. To make the situation worse, the position I was “temporarily redeployed” to I know absolutely nothing about and training has been all over the place…other peers who were voluntold are experiencing the same. On top of all that, this new assignment has a much higher compensation grade than my previous role, but they are not increasing my pay or considering me for a bonus, stipend, etc. They decided to reward me (sarcasm) by switching me from hourly to salary, which means if I have to do overtime (which I hear is coming), I will not get paid for it. And Knowing how WF always does their employees wrong, when my temporary assignment is up, they will probably say I cannot go back to my old position and will now give me an increase for this new role…it’s their workaround for not having to give annual merit increases…oh, we can’t give you a raise and a pay increase for this higher position. The icing on the cake is for my annual review, I will probably not be able to get rated as an exceeds or consistently exceeds as I am in this new role and will at most be considered “developing.” Another way to creatively sc--w employees out of a raise. Also, not much documentation on TW about “Workforce Share and apparently these deployments came from the top because none of the Managers have any info as well.

What does EBCE do different than FLIV?
This seems to be a common practice for teams they've identified for displacement. Move you to a different team, change the manager and eventually they will start laying people off. I've seen it happen many times to different teams - in both Technology and the business side. Had the same experience myself - where they moved our team and then we all sat around for many, many months with nothing to do while they tried to "figure it out."
Did you get moved to RCSA?
Former ITV employee "moved" to EBCE in April due to location strategy as not at a designated hub site, with a workforce agreement through April 2025. EBCE seemed surprised by the transition of dozens of ITV employees. Unprepared at least. Most of us went weeks or months waiting to be assigned work. Many overpaid for the work assigned, others underpaid. EBCE seems disorganized. Most that I know would rather have been offered severance and feel trapped and unmotivated. Perhaps someone thought they were doing us a favor keeping us employed but incredibly stressful not having control over your career and being forcibly moved rather than given the option of a separation package like thousands of others.
is this why many of the EBCE people auditing the businesses are so angry and clueless about how the business works? great strategy, WF.
