How is that different from VDI, what are they talking about?

Right after HY embraces remote work.
The terminal boxes they've put in the office are hot garbage and a complete waste of money. A few for "touch down stations" could make sense but putting them on every desk is just burning cash for no benefit. As I walk around mostly empty buildings I see a very large majority using their laptop.
Is this a meme? Cloud IS the datacenter. The cloud is the datacenter. What is with the posts saying cloud compute isn't in a datacenter? Is this the new Charlie brand of memes since our leadership team is mo--ns?
I am just beginning the process of leaving my laptop at home to embrace the new VDI and M365 environment. Change is constant so embrace the changes.
It’s Windows 365. WF just had to rename it to Cloud PC for some d-mb reason.
No longer are you keeping those private files in some file cabinet. It's on your laptop, and it's then therefore up here in this cloud, that exists above us. It's no longer in a physical place.
It is a VDI. Just running on servers in the cloud instead of in a Wells Fargo data center.
