What is going on? Verizon customers took to X, claiming there were issues with Verizon’s internet service.
In response to one user complaining about disrupted service on Long Island, Verizon support acknowledged an outage and provided an estimated service would be restored by 6:45 a.m. Wednesday.
This marks the second day Verizon Fios users have reported disruptions to their service.
A spokesperson for Verizon sent the following statement about the disruptions: “We are aware of intermittent issues in the NY areas affecting some FIOS customers. Our engineers are engaged and are working to resolve the issue.”
