I heard from a colleague that their in office tracker is showing 5 days a week regardless of their actual attendance. So in the system it’s showing above for them on rto. Now I’m hearing thru the grapevine that this colleague is going to be put on partial expectations and might be part of a layoff. Is this a trap? Could they be this devious?

I have a colleague who's office tracker shows they were in the office 97 times last month. This month, they were placed on a PIP. What should they do? Will they get laid off? If so, when? Please provide details.
Things that never happened...smdh
I am surprised to see that people complain about incorrect swipes. It never happened to me, I watch like a hawk my time and I never noticed any inconsistency.
And it’s not only the swipe that counts, the rules state clearly that you have to be connected to the network too.
It was announced that soon we’ll be able to swipe in and out using the phone. Now that’s concerning as it means that they will know how many hours you stayed in the office.
I don't understand the correlation between errors in swipe reporting system (showing as above model) and that same person's potential layoff.
56 people is a large number I feel bad for them. That's ridiculous to fire that many people.
Well, 56 people let go in Asset Servicing for RTO violations.
Look at this thread. What a sad pathetic state we are in. Robin and his hunchbacks have turned us all into pathetic little adolescents with all this time tracking, worrywarting and attendence scorecard excr-ment. The fact that we have people dedicated to this and spend time and money on it occupying the same space as client deliverables tells a grim tale. If managers truly were managing, you dont need this. If there is trust and faith in your people, you dont need this. If we are a corporate culture of adult men and women, you dont need this. All this is, is an excuse to cut and trim. This is a kindergarten and it’s up to you if you want to put up with it. How in the world did we manage to exist, grow and be profitable for 237 years before RV?
Maybe the person is a coffee badger? They have the data!
Grapevine says it is coming from 2 levels above to force rank. They are not a slacker per se, but just in the last couple months are now a no show. Something sc--wy here. Hence my question, could upper management be setting up a rug pull? They show above on rto but then they call them on some ethical bs about the system being wrong and not reporting, etc. seems like a super shady way to trick people into getting fired.
How are they defining swipe and runners
they do this so they don't have to payout subpay.
If the person is going on a partial for something then theres a reason. If they go in office like they should and show on track then theres no reason the partial would be for that unless they are inconsistent. Keep in mind you are only hearing half the story and most of the time, the person telling it is not giving you honest details.
Toxic environment, such bullsh-t.
I heard that this Friday alot of the RTO swipe and runners are being let go and laid off. Don't know if there is any truth to it but in PA that is the water cooler talk. Also forced 5 ranks which are below expectations and no comp increase. Sad they are going this route with the company. Making people's only choices to depart.
