Probable SIPP list for D3 around Nov 2 for any active 4th Q request. Dec 15th will be next surplus announced for 1st Q 25. Looking for a targeted surplus of 5k to 7k or an offer similar to June 2020. The month of salary they didn’t have to spend will pay for it and with the reduced head count, the contractual increases in payroll will be a net decrease for the company.
They're "above headcount" in comm techs in metro areas. Alarms have been suppressed and they're not getting tickets even though the COs are full of red lights. The rural areas only have one tech for several smaller communities and network reliability shows.

Many are hoping soon. They have $300,000 termination payments coming their way.
The process takes about two months and the contract states only one per 3 months so usually at the start of a quarter.
It's possible they can announce a surplus the start of November but it usually coincides with the start of a quarter so likely January which is perfect timing for people to retire with lower November IRS interest rates.
There are a lot of core employees who'd love ESB and I know several who've put in for VSB.
It won't happen until just after xmas. They will target March 1 2025.
