I was laid off in September. The only information I receive is from a friend that was laid off a couple months before. I guess enrollment for health insurance starts on Monday the 28th. Thank god she told me, otherwise, I wouldn’t have known. What else am
I missing? Why aren’t I receiving the necessary information? Personal email address was in workday before being displaced.

I also got my packet in the mail today. My 60-day notice period ended last Friday. As far as I understand it, you can still receive many benefits as long as you are receiving severance in the form of paychecks vs lump sum.
I am on severance and my enrollment package came in regular mail today. I would sit tight for a couple of days and watch your mail.

But you do get health insurance while you are on severance.
I was displaced in June and just received my packet in the mail. Only thing it does not she are cost of premium and what company the insurance company. I am thinking United Healthcare again. Ugh.
Go to https://www.healthcare.gov/apply-and-enroll/how-to-apply/. You can enroll after NOV 1 for 2025. Or get COBRA. Wells isn't going to give you healthcare after you are no longer employed by them.
You have to go COBRA once 60 day notice period ends i believe.
Similar September displacement situation. My spider sense told me annual enrollment should be coming up soon, so I had at least started to wonder if I was missing anything important yet. The following day Friday 10/18 my benefits enrollment package was delivered via regular mail. So hopefully you get same soon.
The enrollment period begins 10/28 as stated. While my understanding is that displaced employees should be able to enroll online during 60 day notice period, I did get some website errors when attempting to follow the instructions in my packet even though I should have proper access already. So maybe I still don’t, or it’s just a timing thing as enrollment isn’t officially active for another week. TBD. The deadline is 11/14 so still time to work out the kinks.
Regardless, I was able to research my 2025 plan information, rates and premiums via Workday without issue, and verify that while healthcare premiums of course went up (double digits relative to 2024), it’s still the heavily subsidized rate and not the crazy high COBRA one that would apply once severance period ends later in 2025.
I have been watching my email folders diligently. I will call the number provided when I was displaced 10/28 if I do not see anything. Workday provides zero info.
Can’t you call HR (or perhaps that other outplacement administrator (name escapes) and let us know why you’re not hearing?
WHOA! I am so glad you posted this. Half of my team and I were also laid off in September and I've not seen a single communication about enrollment either.
