This morning, my laptop was running slow, so I restarted it. I launched Teams and Outlook as usual, and Outlook displayed a message: “Most features will be disabled on 10/30/2024.”

Nah, that would require some sort of tech excellence that does not exist. Just another upgrade -- does not mean S-H-I-T. Dial back the paranoia, dude.

No, Outlook didn’t give you some magical sign that you’re getting fired. On the other hand, it sounds like you’re worried that you’re doing or better yet, not doing something that might lead to you getting fired. If I were you, I’d stay off the internet and negative energy forums and focus on my work. Good luck.
Call Tech support. They will tell you. It sounds like a MS /Teams license issue.
Sounds like Wells didn’t pay the bill for your license… you’ve been deemed unnecessary. Or try turning it off and turning it on again and see if you get the same message.
