I currently work in the Ridge and drive 1.5 to 2 hours each way. A position has opened up at a technician garage 10 minutes away. Is it worth making the switch from the corporate environment to one with field techs? Would love your input. TIA

Stay there local garages are a pit of fire...... Back stabbing , cry babies, metrics out the ying yang ......and they took your pension away just like the new hires....Do less for this company and do more for yourself....
Where is this job located? What union and what local represents the techs? Things we need to know to be able to answer the question.
You are not allowed to switch titles
That's a no Brainer unless you enjoy waisting 4 hours a day in route
