Non working days? Paid or not?

An estimated possibly lay off date is approaching and I am just trying to gather info. Will the non working portion of the notice be paid or unpaid? And is Severence biweekly or one time payment after that?

Anyone have any theories on if Salem will get cut this month? They fully closed down one side of the building and you’re not supposed to go over there anymore. And the side being used has rows and rows empty. So…any theories?

Why are you trying to give logical answers to this di-----k, all of this has been discussed ad nauseam in all lobs. If this is an actual employee not trolling and it hasn’t stuck yet, an anon response isn’t going to help.

It depends if there is work that needs to be transitioned. You could get a 45 day working notice or a 60 day non working notice. You can then take severance as one lump sum or continue with the bi-weekly payments. If you do the lump sum you are done & will not receive health insurance.
