Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

5-day RTO will not chase me away

I will comply with all administrative requirements. But I will also do bare minimum instead of putting in an effort, adhere strictly to office hours (so no more accommodating work requirements outside regular office hours), and wait for them to lay me off. Why would I make it any easier on a company which has never truly valued any of us?

“RTO has basically turned into “recruitment tailgate opportunity” with my team. We mock interview each other and refer each other to jobs while at the office.”
Those must be short mock interviews if skill levels are being realistically evaluated.

OP- I applaud your work ethic. Your ilk provide the rest of us with a little more security. Don't cry when they come for you. We all stand behind you.

“I’d throw in some job searching while you’re at it. RTO has basically turned into “recruitment tailgate opportunity” with my team. We mock interview each other and refer each other to jobs while at the office.”

Smart. That’s the way it should be.

That’s what they all think we’re doing remotely, so sure.

I guess that’s one way to do it, I’m just gonna find a job elsewhere.

So no change whatsoever? Got it.
