Once you get a surplus notice, how long until you leave? Two weeks or more?

NJ has the "W.A.R.N." Act (Law) - 90 days notice when there is a mass layoff (over 50 people) - so, most NJ EMployees get 90 days notice as I just did in these current surplus's
NJ is 60 days unless they pay you out for the time.
Baragained for employee. Was surplssed July of last year. Still here doing the same job until they can find another one close to me.
RTO was announced in the early spring of 2023. No one should be surprised when getting notice.
IME, NJ does not get longer, so not sure where that's coming from. We're a national group and lost 2 people this month: One in CA & One in NJ. Both were gone 2 weeks from notification.
Just keep sticking around as long as you can.
Use the toilet paper and the free WiFi at the office.
Minimum 14 days. Might be a few days more depending on holidays.

If your a manager 2 weeks once you receive the formal notice.
In ATS it has been 2 weeks.
