Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

The Stank forgot about the law of physics

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

If someone starts a discussion with a union, I’d be very interested in what they have to say.

Collective bargaining is the law and there is nothing they can do to stop us from joining.

Enough is enough. All they do is take take take.

"When it comes to unionizing, be careful what you wish for...just say'n!"

The employee gets sc--wed either way. I've often thought IT workers should unionize, but then talk myself out of it. As I've aged, I lean more toward the positives of unionization, but I'm still not convinced.

There are A LOT of slackers at AT&T, and unionization would only make it easier for them to stay. Of course, the company is already making it easy as it drives all of the good people away, so maybe its a wash.

I will say that AT&T would make an excellent place to test out unionization for IT workers and see how it goes.
