That will REALLY show them. The company may never recover from your absence. The stock price will likely plummet. Everyone will talk for 50 years about the terrible toll that was taken on the company due to you getting fired because you would not show up and work like a grown-up.

The lack of common sense is mind boggling. Do you think that maybe that could seriously harm your life? Yes. It would.

Better fix your presence reports first. Lots of folks getting told they aren’t meeting guidelines when they have proof to the contrary. Going to be some big lawsuits when you fire someone over bad reports.
