Are any L2s getting relief packages? What are some of the financial details?

was given 10 administrative days to cover our move

interesting.

saw recently that the supervisors in are area were unaware of the company providing days for the move if the supervisor agrees. So we had people burning their PTO to move.

Now they've been told they can have 5 days to use by the end of the year. that would have been good to know at the time of the move. (and why my group is told 5 and you got 10 is also interesting.)

" I wasn't paid relo, but I was given a $25k Connection Award with the purpose of it to help me relocate. My director and AVP approved this as long as I didn't tell anyone I got it. I'm an L2."

THIS IS A COMPLETE AND TOTAL FABRICATION. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ PURE, UTTER BS.

There are relo packages for some people. One person below kind of covered part of it. No one who's getting it is going to tell you all the details.

I could have retired in 2023, but stayed for the easy money. I declined to relocate and explained why. I had to attend a meeting with my L3 and L4. There were no hard feelings about it. I told them I would continue to work if they need me. Next day I was assigned full time remote worker status. That is especially sweet because I had been doing (mostly) 5 days in office for about the past 19-20 months. The only negative is my work hours will be Central time to match what my team is working.

" I am a L2 and all my expenses were covered"

Ditto. First thing I asked was about moving expenses. Was immediately told Yes. I don't know why that information would not be included in the initial notification, but I was later told expenses were only covered if you asked for it. Again, not so intuitive, but I wonder if it is available but people aren't aware they have to ask for it.

I don't get this. I am a L2 and all my expenses were covered. I did not ask for it, but was given 10 administrative days to cover our move. I was even able to split it, 6 days for preparing to depart and 4 days when our household goods were delivered. I did add 3 personal days for getting settled in the new house.

I received a $10k relocation package D but had to take it before November because they aren’t offering it after November.

Have to stay in the company for 1 year otherwise they want it back. Also have to provide a lease.

Only retention bonuses I’m aware of was paid to L3+ a few months back. Nobody else got anything that I know of. Heck we aren’t even getting connection awards for going above and beyond.

I don’t why some of these are getting downvoted. Some orgs have given incentives to individuals. I know a few in ACS who signed a retention for 50k if they agreed to move. If you know someone moving, ask them.

"So you have a CHOICE, move or don’t"

It is sad that you think the choices are employment verses unemployment. It shows what type of human you are.

" I am moving to Dallas next spring"

That is a foolish decision, from any angle you look at it.

I am moving to Dallas next spring. It’s expensive to move but after months of searching for a new job I am not being offered anything close to my current payscale. I am going to use my current salary to cover self relocation. We are having family help with moving to keep expenses low.

$27,355, but I am single with no mortgage. A chunk of my expenses were associated with moving a plane, RV, 2 motorcycles, and 4 classic cars.

No relief packages. You move at your expense. I would leave and find another job. Be glad Walmarts in every town to get a job.

No Relo for below GM… However, early on in the RTO/Follow your work to a hub effort, John said in a a Bloomberg interview that “Generous” relocation packages would be available. As has often been stated on this forum, if Stanks lips are moving, he is lying.

“AT&T CEO John Stankey has publicly stated that the company is offering "generous" relocation packages to employees as part of a plan to consolidate office locations…”

So yes. I am sure there must be generous relocation packages, or we he wouldn’t have stated as such, right?

Pretty sure anyway, right?

I mean, otherwise, the guy would have zero credibility right? And a workforce that doesn’t believe anything that comes out of his mouth, resulting in a horrible and toxic culture.

The relocation package is that AT&T forces you to move if you want to keep your job, and then as soon as you purchase a house in the new hub they fire you because you are keeping the corporation from hitting their employee target number and will cause them to miss their margins since Stank does not know how to increase revenue. Almost $50B in capex has been spent in 2023-24 and revenue is declining. What a great leader! I guess he was a success when he took over TW . . . oh wait, he sc--wed that company up too.

You been living under a rock? No, you get told to move, on your own dime, no assistance. Yeah that will be a big no. It doesn’t make financial sense, just the mortgage rate change alone would be a huge net loss in monthly income. Better to say no, get your severance and find something else. Even if you make 15-20k less, you’ll come out ahead. Totally not worth it.

No relo assistance. Because they don’t really want anyone to relocate to begin with

The Stink will be happy to provide several kicks in your @ss until the Stink produces that satisfying smug on his pus.

Other than that, Stink is not giving anything away. Stink is a smug @sswipe. Stinks only relief packages are to himself.

Stink can go f*ck himself!
